“How Sweet It Is..” : A Very Valentines Cocktail Class
Join our Bar and Education Manager, Andrew, along with the bar team, as they show you how to mix up the perfect cocktail with those you love this Valentines Day. This class will demonstrate not only how to use Cedar Ridge spirits in tasty cocktails, but also how to perfectly pair them with a range of sweet treats.  From a boozy sipper, to a smooth elixir of love, these cocktails will upgrade your date night skills.

During this class, you’ll learn about three cocktails. The bar team will show you how to make them and send you home with the recipes, along with tips for pairing food with cocktails.

Start off the night with a true classic, a riff on the Old Fashioned; The Box of Chocolates. This cocktail will be paired with a chocolate cake by Feedwell Kitchen and Bakery, and also inspired by the Valentine’s Day staple; a box of chocolates.  Andrew will teach participants about the history of bourbon, and how the the perfect bourbon can elevate your Old Fashioned to the next level.

Next, we slow things down with a simple dump and stir spritz cocktail, that is perfect for two or can be scaled up for an entire party of your favorite loved ones. The Sweetheart Spritz will be paired with Chocolate Macaroon featuring Smoked Bourbon Salt sourced from French Pastry by Sandrine. This combo will refresh your palette and inspire dreams of summer with your favorite person.

Finally, you’ll shake things up as we demonstrate how to make a velvety smooth Berry In Love Rye Sour. Paired with Pecan Pie featuring Cedar Ridge Bourbon and sourced from The Eat Shop, you will find this duo to be the perfect complementary couple.

Tickets include three cocktails plus a dessert pairing to go along with each, in addition to recipes to take home with you. Food and additional drinks will be available for purchase before and during the event.
