Saturday Music: Cedar Junction Duo

Join us Saturday, February 25th and enjoy music by Cedar Junction Duo from 5:00-8:00pm. The duo is comprised of Rob Wallace and Billy Bourbon, who will be playing all of your favorites!

Rob Wallace has extensive experience as a lead vocalist on the eastern Iowa music scene for over 30 years, and has fronted several popular eastern Iowa bands including Brass Transit Authority, Soul Sacrifice, The Cedar Junction Band, Stranded in Iowa, Jampact, The Toys and Strange Exchange. Rob lived in Los Angeles in the mid 80’s, fronting vocals for an aspiring L.A. rock band to a record contract with the Geffen Record label. In the early 90’s Rob made his way to Nashville, recording background vocals for several studios and recording his original songs with several Nashville up and coming artists including back up band members for veterans Susie Bogus and Wynonna Judd. Rob will bring his distinctive vocal talents to sing the rock, country and R&B songs people want to hear and dance to in eastern Iowa

Billy Bourbon is a singer, song writer of country blues music who made his home for many years in Texas who now lives in Iowa.  Billy brings life to the songs he sings that focus on real life, love and heart break as well as many classic country and blues songs that everyone can dance and sing to.  Billy has opened for many national acts Chris Duarte, Mason Ruffner, Bernard Ellison and many more bring his experience to weekly jam sessions that he hosts each week.  Billy brings to Cedar Junction energy driven from his guitar playing and real life vocals approach to his singing.  Billy also host weekly jam session in eastern Iowa
