“Tanya’s singing career started out at Iowa City’s Monday Night All-Stars gigs. After several years of singing a few tunes as a guest, she decided to create her own band. With husband, Unka Led English, an active member of the live music scene in the area for nearly 30 years, and IC phenom Sam Price on guitar, the Tanya English Trio brings a family-friendly mix of classic blues and cover tunes from the woman’s point of view.
