Afternoon Music with Acoustic Amazon

Barb Francisco (aka The Acoustic Amazon) has been playing guitar and singing professionally in Eastern Iowa in a variety of different rock and folk groups for over 30 years. Her new venture is a solo acoustic show with an eclectic mix of tunes spanning several decades, incorporating some variety with harmony and loop technology to create a fun and diverse show.

You might hear everything from Alanis to the Andrews Sisters, Collective Soul, CCR, Fleetwood Mac, Beatles, Melissa Ethridge, Eagles, Pink Floyd, or Foo Fighters to name a few. To make things even more interesting there is a sprinkling of surprising 80’s techno favorites done in an acoustic style, that her fellow Gen Xers dig. Occasionally, she will coerce her bagpipe-playing husband to do a rousing rendition of ‘Scotland the Brave’.
